Son días especiales estos que estamos viviendo. Días que ocupan nuestros pensamientos y nuestros sentimientos. Son días de repensar, de observar con atención, de actuar, de despertar, de compartir y sobre todo, de servir.
Cuando las porras golpean hoy a los ciudadanos me duelen más que aquellas que los grises estampaban en nuestro cuerpo hace algunas décadas, quizá porque hoy soy más consciente, quizá porque entonces eran los coletazos de una dictadura quiénes nos golpeaban y eso, aunque injusto e intolerable, era de esperar. Hoy es una “democracia” la que golpea de muchas maneras a su gente y eso no tiene sentido.
Nos mostramos permisivos hasta puntos insospechados con personas que abusan de sus posiciones de poder. Poder que les viene de herencias, del capital del que disponen o, lo más triste, del mismo pueblo del que abusan. Hemos permitido que durante años se degenere la educación, la salud pública y los servicios sociales entre otros, sin apenas escuchar voces en contra. Hemos permitido que nos roben, que nos insulten , que se rían de nosotros y hasta que nos arruinen, y… ¿cuántos de nosotros hemos dicho alguna vez que nunca pasa nada? Aún hoy hay una mayoría que sigue siendo permisiva y deja nuestro país en manos de quienes nos han traído adonde hoy estamos.
Sin embargo, cuando un numeroso grupo de personas y especialmente, aunque no sólo, nuestros jóvenes dicen ¡BASTA YA! dejamos que aquellos a quienes toleramos y permitimos les exijan. Es hiriente escuchar que el movimiento 15M no tiene propuestas, que se deshace, que no son más que cuatro jóvenes que se pierden en gritar… Primero, porque no es cierto. Segundo, porque ¿no es lógico que no lo hagan todo lo bien que lo harán cuando tengan más experiencia y cuando no lo tengan que hacer solos? Y tercero, nos lo dicen quienes nunca aportaron nada y a quienes nosotros se lo permitimos. Los programas electorales de los partidos que se presentan a las elecciones, en su mayoría, no tienen propuesta, no dicen nada, seguramente cuentan con que nadie los leerá. Fuera del rifirrafe televisivo y el gran circo que en él nos muestran, no hacen llegar propuesta alguna a la población… Los empresarios, auto-electos como representantes de la sociedad civil, son los que han abusado ya tanto tiempo que a uno le cuesta recordar que Telefónica o Iberdrola eran de todos, o nuestras cajas de ahorros y montepíos, que nacieron cerca de lo que hoy llamamos banca ética, hoy pasan a engrosar las cuentas de los que se lo quedan todo, bueno no todo… las deudas las pagamos nosotros. Y claro, si lo permitimos también, quizá puedan llegar a anular el movimiento de la ciudadanía. Seamos conscientes que, desde la omisión, también se actúa.
Estos días, estando en algunas acampadas, compartiendo en las calles, acompañando en los barrios y en los pueblos, también me han perturbado las ausencias. ¿Donde está la mayoría del Tercer Sector? ¿Dónde estamos todos aquellos que llevamos años trabajando por y para cambiar las cosas? ¿No estamos escuchando el grito de la calle? En cualquier convocatoria del Tercer Sector ves siempre las mismas caras pero éstas no están en la calle hoy. ¿Por qué? Ya he oído que los de las plazas no quieren, y lo niego. Lo que no quieren, y les halago el gusto, es que bajemos con banderas y logos, que traslademos nuestras pesadas estructuras y las dejemos caer sobre sus espaldas. Pero todos y cada uno de nosotros podemos desde la generosidad y sobre todo desde la coherencia, y sin buscar otra cosa que servir, aportar mucho de forma que, lo que hemos aprendido durante tanto tiempo y con tanto esfuerzo, sea para todos. Sólo hay que ser uno más.
Estoy dolido por lo que vivo, pero tengo todo el ánimo y las ganas de trabajar en mi barrio como uno más, aportando lo mucho o poco que sé.
Es un buen momento para pensar qué es lo que estamos haciendo y lo que estamos dejando de hacer.
